20ccs got to special guest in the middle of their set with our new song, Catchin Feelings. it was awesome, a pretty heavy female crowd on the most misogynistic song of all time, but hey, gotta have one ya know…. too bad our photographer wasn’t there (ahem scott baker ahem) or maybe i’d have a picture of Zipperhead in the Turquoise Pistons Grant Hill jersey…ya the wierd knight chess piece logo one… anyway, it was fun , Doom Patrol was awesome as always…and then the hilarity just followed right on down to The Pearl which is THE PLACE to act a straight fool, awesome night.

Someone asked a question on formspring that got me thinking about this record. It is a perfect record. What separated Troy from most of the crunk rappers that followed his formula was dude’s ability, however occasionally, to tie a spiritual element into his music. I know it’s grad school 101 to draw any sort of black music back to the church, but I think it’s a reasonable line to draw given the subject matter of this.
